The Joint National Transport Safety Committee of Nigeria (JNTSCN) was established in 2018 under the National Action Policy Plan on Freight Transport and Haulage Safety Operation Compliance — a strategic federal initiative to bring order, safety, and professionalism to Nigeria's transport sector.
Working closely with the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA), the Nigerian Police Force, and relevant transport unions, JNTSCN leads national safety training, compliance enforcement, and regulatory frameworks that protect lives on Nigeria's roads, waterways, and ports.
The 25th of June, 2024, remains a memorable and significant day in my life. It was the day of my inauguration in Asaba, the capital city of Delta State, where I was officially sworn in alongside a seven-member executive team to serve and lead with dedication, integrity, and commitment.
That occasion marked the beginning of a new journey filled with responsibility, service, and the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of the people we represent. It was a moment of pride, gratitude, and reflection as we accepted the trust and confidence placed in us.
Since that day, our executive team has remained focused on promoting unity, progress, and development. We have worked together to address challenges, create opportunities, and ensure that the goals and aspirations of our members and community are achieved.
I remain grateful to everyone who supported and believed in us throughout this journey. Your encouragement has been a source of strength and motivation. As we continue to serve, we remain committed to excellence, accountability, and the advancement of our collective vision.
